Route 66, the Mother Road of America, had beckoned me for years, so it was thrilling in 2014 to participate in The Ride for the Relay, a fundraising road trip for The American Cancer Society which started in Chicago and ended in LA. This two week journey provided endless opportunities to document the famous road itself, the iconic signage that I love so much, and the glories of our American landscape as it moves from east to west.
