The Village Hotel sign on Route 66 in San Bernadino, California was one of the few old motel signs I found in our brief overnight there before we made our final day’s journey to the end of the trail. This is my favorite kind of image of vintage neon with the bright blue sky behind and the crisp shadows of the neon tubes.
