01 Oct Route 66 New Mexico Neon
Route 66 in New Mexico is about as good as it gets. There are still some great neon signs to be found along this wonderful stretch of the Mother Road. The sunset this particular night in Santa Rosa was so spectacular and I rushed around taking pictures of as many of the neon signs as I could. I especially love this one with the green symbol of New Mexico illuminated, the bright red neon, and the stormy foreboding sky. So glad I was able to capture the Route 66 sign on the left to help add a sense of place to the photograph.
