The Midpoint Cafe just west of Adrian, Texas on Route 66 is a fun place to stop. After all, you need to get your picture taken now that you’ve made it half way across The Mother Road! They make great pies here and you have to have a slice of the one called “ugly pie”. Everyone in our Ride For The Relay biker group had been extolling the virtues of this pie for at least two days. We let them have that one. I had a slice of the pecan, tasted the chocolate pecan, and Jen, my car mate, had the apple pie. They were all top notch in my book – nothing ugly about ‘em!
