06 Oct Graffiti at Cadillac Ranch
Cadillac Ranch is one of the most fascinating modern roadside attractions / art installation on the Route 66 corridor. So many things about it fascinated me, but most interesting is the ever-evolving nature of the graffiti found on the submerged cars, which most likely changes from moment to moment as new visitors spray their special message on the vehicles. I wonder how many layers of spray paint have found their way onto these Cadillacs? Here today, gone tomorrow, by the next round of graffiti artists! In some future time period, when they excavate this site, the people will wonder what the heck went on here!
