The sign for East Ridge Bowling Alley is a classic for the “bowling alley” genre. There’s something about old bowling alleys that conjures up fond memories of my dad taking me (when I was about 8) on Saturday mornings to learn to bowl. Both my Dad and my Grandma were serious bowlers in the 1950’s, played on leagues and took it really seriously. Now as you can see from this sign, the sport has fallen out of favor, but still evokes a time when much fun was to be had out on the lanes!
