Route 66 runs straight through Tucumcari, New Mexico and is chock full of great signs to photograph. Any sign that features a big cow especially lights me up and this fella is especially handsome. (Well, maybe he’s a steer, not a cow – that’s what happens when a city girl ends up on the prairie!) Some of the guide books also say they have good grub here too!
