02 Oct Apache Motel, Tucumcari, New Mexico
I had been looking forward to visiting Tucumcari, New Mexico ever since I learned about this Route 66 trip. From all the pictures I’d seen, although it’s a small town, I knew it was loaded with great old signs. And this one is no exception. Sadly, the motel was closed (long ago it seemed) and looked a bit scary. But the sign still looked pretty darn good! Another one bites the dust in Tucumcari.
