A taste of Bordeaux

The very word Bordeaux is synonymous with wine – not just any wine but some of the finest wines in the world. Think wines from legendary chateaus – deep, rich red wines, dusty bottles in damp cellars, all at exorbitant prices. As lovers of good food and wine we found all of that, exquisite vineyards, magnificent châteaus, and absolutely amazing wines at what seemed to us bargain-basement prices. What we also discovered in this corner of southwest France was a vibrant, modern city blending 18th century architecture with a contemporary vibe.
