The Camino – on the road not taken

The Camino de Santiago has for centuries lured the faithful, the adventurous and even the mildly curious. We count ourselves squarely in the latter category, curious enough to have watched “The Way” by Martin Sheen, which tells the story of a father- son journey on the Camino. Our review? Mixed reactions to the storyline, but we vicariously enjoyed watching people trekking through the mountains and bunking down in dorms, from the comfort of our couch.
